    Getting a #3 cylinder missfire code again. Running ok actually but I can clear it and it will come back after a couple of days..usually right after a cold startup.

    Mine had a broken lifter well when I bought the Liberty. I put a new head on and got another year out of the engine before it dropped a cylinder. Put a reman in a couple years ago and now lifters are failing. Fuel mileage and power are ok until you try to tow even small trailers then both suffer...

    One broke and one fell off. Looks like the lifters are failing. Going to replace all of them. I love my Liberty but that love does not extend to the 3.7. I can't believe no one has ever come up with an engine swap that would not break the bank.

    03 with a 3.7. Valves springs are ok. Have not pulled the heads. Have been able to fix it both time pulling the valve cover.

    Happened to 2 different cylinders now. Starts as a miss when cold that goes away then eventually breaks a rocker arm. Any ideas? Are lifter issues common? This is a rebuilt engine that I had installed a couple of years ago.

    Rear end experts

    Ok so I just need to figure out what is going on with my diff/rear axle. The only issue I ran into with the diff going in was the factory ring gear bolts had shoulders that were to big to go thru the mount holes in the Truetrac. We drilled out the diff to accept them.

    Found it..kind of embarrassing actually. Clearly when you are given greaseable ball joints you are supposed to actually grease them on occasion.

    Its not the sway bar bushings...Got a stethoscope out and its my JBA upper control arm bushings.

    Had a bad front suspension squeak and it went away, now its back with a vengeance. Sounds like the lower control arm bushings. Tried lubing them wo removing them with no luck. Do that need to be replaced to end the squeak? They are fine as far as wear.

    Speedo Issues

    Started getting the needle moving up and down then it stopped. Set a code for speed sensor. Replaced the ABS sensor in the rear end. Its working again but now back to moving up and down and really inaccurate after 30 MPH. Has not set another code since replacing the ABS sensor.

    Any suggestions on reman engines? Any personal experience? Lol you can do a search on any of them and get glowing reviews and horror stories. I guess given the nature of that product and all the variables involved thats to be expected.
