    Clicking while in 4wd

Well, it seems that everyone was correct. The boot is definatly torn and in the pic I'm posting you can barely see it but there is a very dry bearing in view. Hopefully this is the clicking I've been hearing, it'd make sense happening right after going through a watery hole. Ordering the...

    Clicking while in 4wd

After a recent offroad trip my liberty started clicking quite loud in 4wd. 2wd you don't hear it, and it would click while going straight or turning. It didn't have any noises up until this one good size mud hole. I originally thought it was the driver side cv but it looks good and when i...

    My 2002 Liberty limited project

A few pictures from its first offroad outing. I'm fairly sure i broke its front driveshaft or a cv.. clicking in 4wd under power straight or not. jacked up the front driver side as i thought that was the one and it sounds like the noise is coming from TC side of the driveshaft.

    My 2002 Liberty limited project

Well I purchased my 02 liberty, it was not properly running when i bought it, after diagnosis it turned out to be a valve seat dropped (thought it was one but actually one in each head) I pulled the heads, had them both rebuilt and re-seated, one cam replaced, one spark plug hole fixed...

Coolant question, converting from universal green back to hoat

I was reading that mixing the universal green with hoat can cause sludge, well when I bought mine it had the green and when pulled apart for rebuilding the heads it definatly had some sludge, I'd like to convert it back to hoat but don't want to create even more sludge in it. Should I have a...

I had my heads rebuilt on my 2002 liberty 3.7. one dropped a exhaust valve seat one dropped a intake valve seat. dropped valve seat repair?

I did the removal myself. I've got one off currently but the head shop recommended both to be done as it was probably overheating that caused the one to drop and the others could down the road. 300 is just to rebuild and reseat both heads which is a darn good price as far as I'm concerned. I'm...

    dropped valve seat repair?

Oh wow, that first responce actually scared me a little price wise. I've got to wait untill the 2nd for some places to be open to actually call around for quotes. Origionally I was thinking just replacing the one that failed and then having the head checked to make sure its not warped or damaged...

    dropped valve seat repair?

I bought a 02 liberty site un-seen and it ended up having 0 compression in cyl 3. Well I pulled the head today to find it dropped a valve seat. I'm curious if anyone on this forum has had them repaired and if so how long did it last/ how much was the cost? Any insight would be appreciated!
