Sold the jeep for a RAM 1500.
Loved that little monster every minut and I'm gonna miss it a lot, but time change and the jeep needed to go.
I don't think I will come over here anymore but you were all full of great advice and nice discussion about jeep!Goodbye everyone and may liberty live long!
seems that I broke both front upper control arm in the wood last week. The passenger side one was the worst with a broker ball joint XD Got them both replaced and now I'm poor. But I still love my jeep. Now I'm ready to go back in the woods!!!
I was looking to find a bad bearing like noise on my jeep and I noticed something wierd on my passenger side front coil.
On the first pic you can see that something rub on the coil and it took off maybe a 1mm thick of metal, the same rubbing can be found under the A-arm just behind the ball...
I'll see if I can replicate the hissing with and without AC running.
Haven't spent a lot of time on it today but I took a look at the hose and they look fine...now let's figure a way to find the problem.
Got the jeep to the shop. Apparently my garage torqued my T-case fill plug to much when I went for the bi-annual check up, now I can't remove it and need to change the oil...
wait a minute, now that you are talking about hissing noise. I noticed not long ago when I walk out of the jeep and pass in front of it I can clearly hear a hissing! the puzzle is getting clearer
You guys are all awesome.
It's been two day I have this wierd issue where my brake work just fine, like anything is wrong. But! when I shut off the jeep and come back to it 1 or 2 hours later, the brake pedal is full pressure. I made sure I was releasing the brake pedal before shutting the engine to make sure it's not a...
It's been a while but I got time to take some care on my jeep, cleaned the T-case and diff, no leak found, next step will be to change both piece oil, also changed my defective hub and it seems to be working great now. Pretty proud of myself since it's my first big job by myself.
The jeep will...

As for the other 4X4 or AWD, no excuse. Some people are just idiot. Yesterday condition were pretty hard, I was going 80 on the highway right lane and in about 1 km I saw a forester, 1 ford...
Never used this kit, I've always used 3M stuff from work but did it 3 time on other vehicle and it's fairly easy if you follow the step and you do it good. Make sure you sand the surface dead flat and you might want to use contact cleaner ( no silicone cleaner ) and let it cure for the entire...
Amen to that, just last night me and the wife went in her ford focus to a dinner with the family, got passed on the right ( illegal here ) by a subary impreza which was in the ditch 2 street light later. To make it more fun it was just pass a used subaru dealership XD.
I also really rarely use...
Not like I use cruise a lot...only in summer, so the hub will be replaced but it will wait the end of the winter so I have my garage and I can do it myself. Anyway, since I first posted on the forum the issue went away...over a week without it.
true that.
@ OP, save money, lot's of it, and get a decent lift / skid plate / recovery point. You may light some light also if you plan doing offroad in low light. Plus, light bar and spot light are cheap and easy to install.
A friend of mine work for Peterbuilt and can get me the part for 125 CAD but not sure I'm gonna fix it since after 3 day of issue it is now gone since the dec 24. And I don't really mind not having ESP/ABS, it's more to get the light out that I wanted to fix it XD Now let's see if the cold temp...
