While stopped with the engine running if you turn the wheel all the way to stop one way or the other and hold it for a second does the noise get louder?
Sounds like a bad CV joint on the drive axle is going bad. I know that they can sometimes only make noise in turns and in acceleration. Quick check of the boot for rips wouldn't hurt.
Not sure if this will fix the problem but replace the tensioner and pulleys. That small noise will be amplified when under load. I had a bad rattling noise that sounded like some thing was loose in the engine. Replaced the tentioner and pully and all is well again.
Just a quick followup. I took the Liberty back to the dealer and told them they over filled the oil. After a long discussion and showing them the pictures they decided to replace the rear main seal for $170.00 down from the list price of $790.00. So now I have a drip free Jeep again.
Something I should have checked first but didn't:emotions122:was the oil level. Today I went and got rear seal stop leak to put in the Jeep, but before I put it in I wanted to make sure I wouldn't over fill the oil. Pulled the dipstick out and it was 1/2-1/4 inch over the full mark on level...
I suspect you are correct. I drove around and got the engine hot than put it up on ramps and wiped down all the oil. After a few hours to cool down I went back and took this picture.

Anyone in Central Texas, I'm currently in the Austin, have an 06/07 Liberty A/C coil I can buy? I personally have no issues buying online but with the holiday weekend wouldn't get it until late next week, and central Texas summers suck with no A/C.

I know there are a lot of post regarding this but I have not found the answer I was looking for. My liberty's A/C was working fine blowing cold air and than cut to warm/hot air. Prior to this there was no symptoms of trouble. I had two separate mechanics hook up there gauges and they did not...
