    a/c noises

Ok, I took a closer look today and did pinpoint that it indeed is the belt tensioner. It is a little loose and i can see it move on its own. On Napa's website, they have 2 different parts, 1 has a 90mm diameter pulley, and 1 a 76 mm pulley. Is there an easy way to tell which I would need...

    a/c noises

Thanks, i'll look into the tensioner. I notice it when i start it up, or when i'm slowing down (pressing the brakes) Other than that, i don't really notice it. How difficult is it to change the tensioner?

    a/c noises

Indeed, I did actually. Today we're back down to the 40s, and had the heater running. When I would slow down I would notice the sound again, and after about 30 seconds it would stop. Could this indicate a different part?

    a/c noises

With the unseasonably warm weather here in NWPA i turned on the AC in my KJ. I noticed that it was making a semi-loud (you could here it inside, when sitting idle with the radio off)(or outside easily with the hood open) Whirring type noise. The serpentine belt seems ok, but I have no...

    Power Steering Pump

Had mine replaced a few weeks ago. The whine got to the point it wouldn't stop anymore and could hear it on the highway going over 70mph. It also got to the point where I was having issues turning the wheel at times. Didn't have any leaks on mine prior to it, only the whine. Afterwards, still...

    Undercoating

would it be safe to say, even if corrosion has started, it would still be a good idea to help prevent new corrosion? Would it possibly slow the corrosion from spreading?

    Undercoating

Haven't seen any recent posts on this topic, so thought I would throw it out there. Living in NW PA, we normally get lots of snow which in turn leads to salt and rust. I have been looking into getting my KJ undercoated, and wanted some opinions...is it worth while? I don't really have...

    Securing aftermarket antenna

I just put an antennax aftermarket antenna on my 2003 liberty limited http://antennax.com/p-3974-jeep-liberty-antenna-2002-2003-2004-2005-2006-2007-kj.aspx I was curious what steps anyone may have took to make sure it was securely attached. The replacement antenna is in 3 parts, the...

    2003 Liberty Limited Water Leak

Sorry to bring back a dead thread, but I finally figured out the water leak in my Libby. Thought I would post my results in case anyone else has the same issue. The site here talks about replacing the factory tweeters in a libby, what helped me out what is also talked and showed pictures...

    Tire Opinions

Thanks everyone for the responses. Right now I am leaning toward the Geolander AT's, but am still torn about the HTS'. The Cooper's haven't been problematic, but they are what came with the vehicle. They had a decent amount of tread when we got it, and I have driven it about 18k miles...

    Rim leaks

The tire shop should be able to properly dismount the tire and clean the rim with a wire brush to remove any built up dirt or bead sealer. It should be a smooth surface after they are finished and no debris should be left. If it is still leaking after that, there could be a nail or some...
