    2005 Trans Shift Problem

    My 2005 Liberty Limited infrequently shudders or shifts hard from 1st to 2nd. It is more pronounced on hard acceleration. Any ideas? Service Bulletins? Others have the problem? Jeep characteristic?

    Heater Control: Why

    when selecting the air flow to the floor, the A/C compressor runs? Selecting any other air flow direction does not turn on the compressor (if that's what is running). I've seen this subject posted on other Jeep web sites but there was no answer to the question.

    Spinnng Tires

    while in 4x full. Backing out of my driveway, the rear wheels hit a patch of ice/snow and the wheels began spinning. The front tires were on dry pavement. I put the Jeep in 4x fulltime and it acted like the Liberty was still in 2x.

    I have stock Goodyear Wrangler tires on my 2005 Liberty Limited. What are the best tires for all driving conditions? When in snow or driving up my driveway, the traction I expect is not there.

    Transmission Shift

    I have a 2005 Limited. Once in awhile, when accelerating from a stop, the transmission shifts from low to the next gear and makes a slight shudder that can be felt in the car. Any idea what may cause this?

    Rear Gate/Window

    I"ve noticed an intermittant noise from the rear gate and/or window like a rubber squeek on glass(?). This has become more pronounced over a long period of time. I believe it began a few months after I bought my 2005. Now that its cold, it is more prevelant. Anybody else experience this?
