Other than that rust she's pretty great. 132K km (82K miles) and I am religious about maintenance!
Does the price seem normal?

I knew it would come to it; our rocker panels (sills if you're British) are showing through the body filler that someone had repaired them with.
Here's the question.. is it really worth replacing them? I got a quote that covers replacing the two panels and repairing a rust patch by one of the...
I have to say, even though I love my KJ; it is the worst quality vehicle I have owned. Saying that, on an agricultural scale it's not bad.
I'm nearly 40 and have lived on four continents.
Thanks Chaps... I do get pretty paranoid; especially in conditions like this...

Weirdly; my notifications are being eaten by something [spamfilter?]

I'll check the boots. I need to crawl under there anyway because something is creaking on steering input!
We bought our 04 KJ this weekend and I'm pretty sure it has wheel bearing issues. It has 114,000km on it and winter tyres at the moment so I'm not sure if that resonant wowwowwowwow on the highway is the tyres or bearings.
The noise appears from about 40kph.
What do you guys reckon?
