What is the story w Liberty heaters?

Mine has the heavy duty cooling. I replaced the thremostat and water pump when I fixed the heads. There was a new radiator already installed. I did not back flush the core though. It works really good once it gets warmed up. My engine does take awhile to reach temp also. I used the NAPA...

What is the story w Liberty heaters?

Why does it take so long for them to reach temp? Works great once it gets warmed up.

    Wow..I really like DTT's

Lol. I have to agree. They may not be the best extreme rock climbers but for slick muddy conditions they are awesome. I would think they have to work in snow pretty good also.

At the top..not even much mud slung on the sides. With my XJ it would have been covered.

I did not and I thought about it later. It was pretty sketchy too. Normally I don't even tempt fate when its that slick. This place does not get deep but it gets really slippery and the hills are steep. I had trouble walking around some of the trials when I was clearing.

    Wow..I really like DTT's

Went out to work trails today since its way to wet to ride. It rained about 3 inches yesterday and all week its been rain, snow, sleet or freezing rain. I knew it was going to be wet, and it was. Even alot of standing water in the fields. The area I need to get to was pretty far back on the...

    My driver side seat

Found a recliner mechanism on e-bay and a new switch also. Installing the recliner was not that bad. I did have to undo the cover on the back and pull it and the cushion up some to get to one of the bolts. The switch fastens to the side cover and I made all of that work. The cover has studs that...

Went on a shakedown...got some issues

Waiting another axle...chewed on the end past the snap ring. The splines on the DTT are fine. Should be going tomorrow.

Went on a shakedown...got some issues

Lol..as usual it was something boneheaded that I did. I agree, I got it on the lift last night and looked at it knew that did not look right. I am going to get it out and set it against the old axle and make sure its the right length.

Went on a shakedown...got some issues

I had the local hot rod shop set the DTT. It looked like a new one but I did not install it. I'm thinking now I just did not get the axle pushed far enough into the diff. Did you see the pic..looks to far out to me.
