I found a tiny, tiny pinhole leak on the left top side of the plastic part of the radiator. Is it possible to fix at a Radiator Shop?
Went into the Jeep dealer for a coupon oil change and had them check the tailgate, there was no codes from the BCM so they concluded that it must be from the connector in the tailgate handle. Unfortunately they didn't have another switch, so now I'm waiting for one to come in. I was scanning the...
Just wanted to pass this on if someone has the same situation.
Went to the jeep dealer today for a coupon oil change. I had them look at the tailgate/window, they plugged in the scanner and found that there was no problem with the switch. They said if a problem it would show up at the BCM...
As expected, I went to the local junkyard, bought another switch, no luck.
Still no power to switch- Any ideals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for commenting. I'm surprised that I haven't had much help on this topic.
I've been searching everywheres, this site, other jeep forums, the internet and google. Nothing to my main topic. Yes, there are a lot of issues with the tailgate but I couldn't find any specific to my concern.
I've been there and checked the only possible fuses per the owners manual. There is NO fuse that is dedicated to the Tailgate/window switch. I've checked my wires back there with a test light and there is NO power.
I don't want to bring it into the dealer, what should I do?
I have a 2003 KJ, I have NO power to the Tailgate window actuator. I've check the fuse panel near the drivers door and found NO blown fuses. I've read that there are other BCM's on the vehicle maybe thats the one that provides power to the tailgate window switch. The FOB key does not work the...
I've tried to manipulate the switch by hand, still same problem. I'm afraid if I buy a new switch that I'll have the same problem. I think I'm not getting power to it. I still haven't found what fuse works it.
I tried using the Ohm meter with No luck. I wonder if I'm probing the right thing or using it properly.
Anyway, Billwill, I have NO ideal what your trying to say to me with all those numbers. Do they coincide with the fuse box numbers. The color wires you mention aren't on my jeep. Each...
I tried messing with it to see if something simple could be fixed machanically. NO LUCK.
I then took the right and left wires off and connected a test light to grond. I probed each contact then I hit the key fob to see if there was a pulse of light. There was none on all wires going to the...
Thanks Billwill- I'll have a look at it today.
trent.brown- Today I have few hours to really look at things, I'll see if I can reset things first before getting into it.
Thanks All!!!!!!
I have a Volt Meter but what wires should I be checking.
I also need the reference sheet that shows me what fuse goes to what.
Does anyone have one?
I am not getting any power to the Actuator and the lock is stuck in the open position. I've tried to force the lock into a close position but...
