Engine Ticking
The 3.7 in my Liberty did it the first night I cranked it up after I bought it. It now has in excess of 53,000 miles and still running fine. I agree it is a bother and will make you take notice. It seems to only do it when it is cool outside though. After a minute or so it goes...
Bull Bar
Thank you. They have them listed for the '04 and earlier. They don't show it for the '05. I've seen that on several places. Maybe sooner or later they will release one for the '05.
Mileage
I got between 22 and 23 a year ago when I was driving to Tuscaloosa to watch the Crimson Tide play on Saturdays. It was also pretty new at the time. I've got about 23500 miles on it now. The mileage yesterday worked out to 20.2.
The stuff I've done has dropped it by about 2 MPG's...
I would like to find the MOPAR brush gaurd for the '05 KJ. Two dealerships have told me that it is discontinued.
Anybody know where I could find one or something similar? In stainless preferably.
I would also like to see pictures and get opinions on grille gaurds that people have...
K & N air filters
I put the drop in K & N in my '05. I really couldn't tell any difference in mileage or power. It may have helped but it would have been very minimal.
I replaced the drop in K & N with the new K & N cold air FIPK intake. (They finally released one CARB approved for the "05)...
Mopar Brush Bar
Two dealerships have told me the MOPAR brush bar for the '05 KJ has been discontinued. Anybody know where I might possible obtain one? Or one similar to it? I want the stainless one.
Thanks
I'm looking for a new wheel. I like the look of the Mickey Thompson Classic II. I have a Rusty's 2 1/2 inch lift on my '05 KJ and I am running Revo 245/75/16's on the stock 16 x 7 inch wheels with only slight rubbing at full turn. The MT Classic II's are a 16 x 8 with a little less back spacing...

There were two plugs in the engine block right at the oil filter. I suspect it would be possible to tap into those to hook a oil pressure sensor up.
I'm kind of waiting to order my guages until I have...
I checked the sensor just above the oil filter. It looks like it may be hard to do what I want to do there. I noticed a couple of plugs right around the oil filter. I am wondering if this might be a place to tap to install a pressure sensor.
I have about decided to install a electric guage...
