    The one thing I've heard with the K&N systems is that they're finding out the oil in the filters is actually damaging the mass air flow sensor. You may want to see how close the sensor is going to be to the filter.

    I think I read somewhere it's a map holder...I wouldn't think it would do much good, but it's a good thing to add cost to the Jeep right. My 08 kk has it and I don't think I will use it for anything.

    Tranny issues anyone?

    No it doesn't seem to have any issues with "cold" shifting. I've noticed the hard shifts at lower speeds. The dealership programmed the two TSBs for the tranny and so far so good.
