HELP -- Spinning Upper Ball Joint

Ughhh, im at the same spot as of now. Too hot to keep going today. Anxious to finish, I'm just finishing a clevis/top plate lift. Would a little antiseize on the threads help the nut go through easier?

noise from front end when in 4wd

Haven't washed it, mainly because it was pouring rain that day. I didn't take a wheel off yet. I will tonight for inspection. Tires are all 245/65's, 17"

noise from front end when in 4wd

Another observation, while in part time or 4high in reverse, it seems like the front wheels are binding up. I creep in reverse and it seems like the front wheels have brakes on.

noise from front end when in 4wd

Thread back from the dead.... Just went out to a water crossing, very shallow, about 6" below rockers. Easily done in 2wd. Its man made graded down limestone. After leaving I had to do some minor trails that only needed part time 4 wheel since it was raining and muddy. As soon as I shifted, I...

spark plug gap, i have no sticker

It was a small privately owned dealership, used cars. Haha, I haggled enough on the guy. He would have punched me if I ask for anything else. The plugs, however, were changed at a dodge dealership, was noted on the carfax. I just changed the plugs and found a few mistakes. One was gapped at...

spark plug gap, i have no sticker

My kj had its plugs changed right before I got it last summer, according to the carfax, but I just wanna be sure and change them out. After all, they are cheap. Im going with either the ngk #6987 or the autolite #3923, both are copper. I've read on here that you just go off of the sticker...

first winter with kj, I got mayo

Yeah, the kj was only driven a couple of miles back and forth with no real warm up. It never reached operating temp. I dont use synthetic and never had this issue until this cold temp stretch, 0-teens. I also never took it out to stretch its legs during the two week period either.

    Recommendations for 17" wheels?

Would the OME lift look bad with only 245/65-17's? Just curious, as I have to get tires soon, before I do a lift

first winter with kj, I got mayo

Hit our coldest stretch of winter and found mayo in the oil filler lid. Good thing this forum exists. Lots of good info here to refer to. Pcv valve was slugged up mayo. It was new in sept, only 1k miles since then, so I cleaned it out and reinstalled. I carefully cleaned the filler neck and am...

Is kj the best winter vehicle?

I have to admit, I really love my kj limited so far. We dont really get alot of snow here, but its done really well in the 2-3" of snow we did have, even with very worn out pedestrian Courser tires! This vehicle is my wife's daily driver, she loves it more than I do. The size and capability...
