Need advice on subs...
Hi. Need some advice on subs & enclosures... Basically, I'm looking for a little more "boom" to my bass in the simplest way. How would you compare a ported enclosure (Type 3) to a bandpass enclosure? My stereo doesnt work when it rains???
Not sure of the Premium Package, but if you're just replacing the dash speakers with tweeters, you do need a crossover (because the dash speakers are not tweeters). I'd recommend a pair that comes with an in-line crossover (the simplest method).- eddiev9

Firestone Firehawk Indy 500
Are these nice tires? I've been to tirerack.com and read a few reviews, but couldn't find any from KJ owners so I was hoping to get some opinions. They seem pretty low cost and I don't go off road or anything. I'm just looking for anything that is ten times better than these Crapyear...- eddiev9

Hmm...interesting problem here
In reference to the speaker distortion... did it work fine before your spedometer problem? If so, that is interesting, indeed. I would have guessed your HU is not feeding your speakers enough power to keep it from distorting. :-k- eddiev9

Whats a good after market speaker for the doors?
Component speakers are "special" because the tweeter and woofer run seperately, so they don't get in each others' way (like full range ones) and let them perform at their full potential. Basically, they just sound better. As for the tweeters...$100 isn't that bad, really. You'll be looking...- eddiev9

Bluetooth Audio...opinions?
I do that sometimes, but it's a hassle; more trouble than it's worth. Friends are too lazy or forget...or they ask for return favors, etc. No worries, though. I always find a way. I'm still debating whether this thing will come in handy or not.- eddiev9

The dash speakers are 2 (and something) inches, I think. As far as I know there is no such aftermarket speaker in the world that size with that sort of mount. Yeah, I had the whole 22Watt RMS X 4 thing going on my HU, too...sounds okay, but it didn't sound too 'crystal' at high volumes, which is why I added an amp (tucked away under my driver seat, by the way). Thanks for the suggestions. Problems are... These are FM Modulator types (not best of quality). Some of these are specifically designed only for iPod's. My buddies have portables like iRiver, iAudio, Shuffle, etc.- eddiev9
