Thanks for the reply Matey. Yes you are correct, I don't have front fogs fitted but its driving lights I am after, not fogs. They take a dim view (no pun intended) over here about using fog lights if it's not foggy. Already got upgraded bulbs in headlamps but don't want the 100 watt ones in as...- Banditsteve

Spot Lights on 2002 2.4 Sport
Hi All, I am thinking about fitting some spot lights to my Jeep but not sure whether to go for 2 on the front or 4 on the roof on a home made light bar. Just wondering if anyone knows how thick the metal is under the front bumper cover? I read on here ages ago that the KJ has 2 holes already...- Banditsteve

5 speed issues.
If the clutch was dragging it would be nigh on impossible to select reverse gear! I think you will find it is second gear synchro that is causing the problem the same as mine. Just try leaving it running to warm up for 5 mins and try changing sooner or later or faster or slower etc. You will find the sweet spot! Hehe- Banditsteve

Not too bad after letting it warm up for 5 mins. Just shift it earlier in the rev range, sort of 2k revs ish, and try and match the road speed to the change like trying to drive with no clutch if you have ever done that? Mine is doing and has always done the same thing. I have even played around with different oil grades to try and help things but to no avail. I have resigned myself to accepting it is a Jeep thing! Hi Greg, Not sure if it is the same rattle, as mine only does it whilst actually driving and not standing still. Or did I misunderstand what you meant? Hi All, Just wondered if anyone with a 2.4 petrol manual has had a rattle underneath? More distinct when its cold and slowly disappears as it gets hot (The Jeep, not the weather). Yes those wind turbines are huge when you get next to them and without exaggerating you can see at least one wherever you look from anywhere.
