It's not the tensioner and I thought it was the A/C before when it was the tensioner. So tensioner was replaced and no a/c issues. I replaced the PCV and no more rattle. If it replicates I'm not sure where I would turn. I believe that Inside the PCV is a metallic insert or the "disc" for the...
TPS replaced, no real change noticeable yet. Will have to wait to see if problem replicates or if mileage improves. Throttle response seems the same. The throttle cable is extremely loose while idling... Is that normal?

I will be replacing the PCV today but just for knowledge's sake... It has this odd rattle all of the sudden. I know a good way to test it is if you shake it and it rattled its good but normally when my jeep is running I don't hear this...
Any way of singling out which problem? I have not notices much difference in the way it drives. It may be a little slow on initial acceleration but it's hard to tell. Gas mileage has gone down but just got new tires recently. They are same size as before but more tread (obviously) and had mount...

After pulling from a parking spot and shifting from reverse to drive the RPMs dropped and came "close" to stalling. I attempted to replicate the problem with no results, works fine. Has not happened recently either...

Being the poor man I am, I am interested in building my own CAI or for those of you unfamiliar, Cold Air Intake. I plan to buy a filter and most likely PVC pipe to ensure I can shape it correctly and cut it to length easily. Has...
Mine was the solenoid pack. Includes torque converter solenoid, trans temp sensor and trans pressure sensor. Fixed an intermittent code (one that came on months after the problem started) as well as a stalling issue that was taking place for me. My stall was during breaking from running to...
Simple as hell. Take off serpentine belt then remove single bolt that holds it to the block. Pull it off and you will see a notch. Line the new tensioner notch up correctly when installing it. Tighten it down nice and tight but don't over do it. Put serpentine back and you're done. :)
Probably the tensioner. You can also disconnect ac to see if noise persists. Does it happen when in drive or reverse with brake applied? When you speed up it would put more tension on belts and when idling in gear would be less tension and would cause tensioner to rattle. Have buddy sit in the...
