    Does it still unlock with a wireless fob? If So I wouldn't worry about it IMO. With yours being an 2002 you should have key holes on the gate and passenger door so there is no fear of locking yourself out if the fobs ever fails. Here is something else you can try your self to get it working...

    Yea 02's had them. If you thinks that bad. My wife's 07 compass only has a power lock button and keyhole in the driver door. Keys are just becoming the thing of the past. I honestly don't even know if my key tumbler works in my door. I've never used it.

    It's possible that the KK and wrangler use the same cluster. far as I know. Only the wrangler can come from the factory with lockers.

    Same. However, whats the fear of the jeep rolling off ramps? I have been using ramps for years honestly never chocked my tires. I'm not one for skipping on safety either. The vehicle rolling away never crossed my mind with the rear wheels on the ground locked by the parking gear and E-brake.

    Tailgate handle

    Some one chime in if I'm wrong but I think the the front Driver door handle (since you need a handle with a keyhole) is the same size as the tail gate handle. So In theory you should be able to one in place the other Or possibly use parts to repair.

    I did the same. However I just change my oil every 6 months (March and September). That goes for both my KJ and my wifes compass. She does put on more mileage than I do but Synth is good for like 10k between changes. and she only does about 4k in a 6 month period.

    welcome to the forum. Umm.. patriot model years begin with 2007. I know this b/c my wifes has a 07 compass and they both came out at about the same time. Are mistaking your Liberty for a patriot?
