    RRO Snow Plow

Secondly, I read the other forum, seems they are of the same mind, don't be an idiot driver plowing to fast and you should be fine. I plan to plow slowly and I know the area very well, such as potholes and landmarks.

    RRO Snow Plow

WOot! Canada, yeah I have talked to them and they are a good company, they just don't make heavy (commercial) duty snow plows. I know the Jeep isn't the best plow vehicle, but last year there was no plowing done in our lane way (800ft long) and it made for a horrbile winter. We live down a hill...

    RRO Snow Plow

Anyone have any experience with the RRO snow plow? This seems to suit my needs. I will be adding a power angle unit to from a western. Basically shopping by price the cheapest full hydraulic rig was about $4500-$5500 for a new entry level setup. The RRO snowplow and mount are $2200 shipped. I...

    KJ build, well, sorta

A 2 wheel peeler eh... Lower it down and put phat rims on it! :P j/k I would do things to make driving it nicer and more comfortable. Such as vent visors over the window, great sound system, maybe some nice driving lights. HID's are really nice to have in the libby, they are not only a visual...

    What could this noise be?

I have the exact same issue, I have had it into the dealership a few times. I have 31" tires and they were out of balance by about 1/4 ouch or so. This is a good balance for larger tires. They re-balanced and the noise is still there. Nothing else was wrong with the vehicle. all vehicles have...

    Four wheel drive

agreed on the towing capacity, I tow a 4000lb camper in the summer and the Jeep really struggles. Braking is by far the worst, and there is no such thing as fuel savings when towing. I was using almost 1/3 of a tank for a 90km drive to the local provincial park.

    Aux lights

Very nice install there! I have a very similar setup, but mine are mounted to the plastic bumper. You might have inspired me to do a better job :)

    Jeep to loud

@ThunderbirdJunkie, you missed my point, I don't feel like arguing with a philistine. @JeepinJarhead03 way to follow others... again philistine.... I don't feel like arguing, I mean post if you want but you won't get anywhere. Possibly a report for abusing a forum??

    Jeep to loud

To answer you Marlon I work in a community called Lac La Croix, Between Thunderbay and Fort Frances in Ontario. It is 2.5 hours one way to Fort Frances and 5 hours one way to Thunderbay. The highway that connects them is Highway 11. I live 80km off of highway 11. The 80kms is a horribly...

    Jeep to loud

lol ry'n jen I was waiting for you to chirp in. I'm surprised yours has lasted that long. At least the exhaust was designed to last in these things. I think one of my problems is that I use to enjoy driving, back when I was living down in southern Ontario. Now I hate it! every drive is soooo...

    Jeep to loud

I had considered dynomat but that was going to be a audio project for the coming summer. @tommudd... sorry for snapping. Its so hard to understand emotion on forums or any message based communication system. @tjkj2002... I wouldn't take you seriously if you had a quiet KJ lol.

    Jeep to loud

Yeah I was under there today. Double checked everything. Its actually pretty clean for an Ontario vehicle. I think I will just go with the double muffler setup, I guess my biggest complaint is although the stock muffler has a "noise" its not very pleasant to listen to. Maybe when we move south I...

    Jeep to loud

So much negativity on this forum..... I was hoping for healty help and good talks over this. but what I am being told is, its a jeep suck it up... Now if i wanted what everyone else wanted which is loud and annoying I would get all sorts of friendly faces with their polite views and maybe some...

    Jeep to loud

@RenegadeBullitt I did not say my jeep was loud.... I said it was just sort of there and that after hours of driving it drives me nuts. I'm sure it is just as loud as any other stock libby. WHAT I AM saying is that I would like it quieter. As for it not being the correct vehicle... if you...

    Jeep to loud

Im sure there will be room. I have done some searching and I think I will do something like this. Install a quiet high flow muffler in the stock location but as close to the front as possible. The muffler I have been looking at is a walker quiet flow. More flow then stock and quiet. These...

    Jeep to loud

@ tommudd Thanks for the input. If you have nothing proper to add please leave this alone. No wonder there is very little talk on this forum. All I see is new people asking questions only to get flamed and told to search, (and the search is rubbish btw), or that their idea is idiotic with out...

    Jeep to loud

I guarantee there are no holes. Its just too throaty. I mean you can't hear a peep out of it until its under load. I was thinking of running a bi-muffler system, use 2 smaller mufflers in parallel more noise cancellation without restriction.

    Jeep to loud

Has anyone ever found that the stock KJ exhaust is a little to loud. Its fine when cruising but when it downs shift going up a hill its a rather loud BBrrrrrr sound. I know the sound is normal lol. I'm simply making an observation about the Db level. I am going to look into a way to quiet it...

Another Lift question... let the flaming begin.

wait :) I know it sucks but I have experienced trying to do a budget lift. IT SUCKED lol. I would just wait until you can afford a proper lift. If you are still going to try to find a budget lift. If you are only looking for a 1" lift, you could go with some extra rear isolators and a 3/8"...
