    Jacking up high enough for 3" Lift

    How high do you guys think I need to get my truck off the ground to install a 3" lift? I know I'm going to need another jack because all I have is a low profile for my car. I already need a 2x4 on it to get the wheels off, so I think a new jack for the jeep is a must. Any recommendations?

    Only thing I can think of is you have a cracked plug. I would think that would throw a misfire code though. Do you have a check engine light?

    ABS Fault with code description - clean or replace sensor ??

    If I'm not mistaken, the ABS sensor is part of the bearing hub assembly. With 95k miles, and if you have not already changed, I would just replace the entire bearing hub assembly, probably $200 or so each. There is a good write-up on this site somewhere and I had mine installed in an hour...

    Tow bar base plate holes aren't matching up.

    I actually fell onto the Banks System last year. For as often as I use the motorhome, it just wouldn't justify spending the $3000+. They actually get really good power gains & fuel eff. with those. I have highly considered a ram air intake. I put one in my vette and the gas mileage improved.

    I thought Demco was pretty reputable with hitches and such? The tow bar that came with my rv was demco excali-bar II. So, figured I'd keep it all the same or I would have had to buy new shackles too...

    The roadmaster looks the easiest to install... I'm hoping to find a d-ring shackle that will fit mine. Did you use a supplemental braking system? I'm installing my ready brake tomorrow. Kinda wondering how it's going to work out, drilling the conduit behind that brake pedal.

    Well just incase someone hits the same snag, I drilled the holes out to 9/16" and going to put a few spot welds in tomorrow. It should be good without the welds but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
