Try giving the part of the seat where your butt goes on the passenger seat a few whacks with your fist and see if the light goes out.
Mine has been doing this for a while now. It's worse in the winter time. I think the weight sensor is just getting old. The airbag off light will always turn...
Usually when doing "the big 3" you don't replace cables; you add on. The grounds are the most important. If you're not upgrading your alternator, replacing the alternator wire isn't going to benefit much if any at all.
Just received my recall notice today in the mail. I wasn't sure when us Canadians would get it.
Now I need to make an appointment to get the hitch done and also the rear lower control arms recall.
According to prestone the extended life anti-freeze meets DaimlerChrysler MS 7170 and MS 9769.

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work if you do a full flush and don't mix coolant types.
I went with mopar anti-freeze myself. Here the...
I'm just going by memory here but I think the door speaker and the dash speaker are each 4 ohm wired in parallel for a 2 ohm load. I'm pretty sure this is how it was on my non-premium stock system.
I went through something similar last year on my old Camry. Right front brake would lock up in warm weather or after driving a lot.
A couple of things come to mind. 1. The brake hose is acting like a one way valve due to the insides of the rubber line breaking down. 2. Faulty master...
Aftermarket alternators work fine. Personally, I am using this with no problems

The 160 amp renegade alternator works fine. A friend of mine did just that.
I have a question on this kit. Do you have to cut out the plastic pieces where the OEM deck fastens to? The reason I am asking is because if I do go with this kit I would want to be able to return to stock if I choose to sell me Jeep. Cutting out the bottom supports shouldn't be an issue.
I see this is a common issue with GM vehicles....P0116 when block heater is used. I also found a thread on another Jeep forum with the same issue. Some suggestions were to have the ECM reprogrammed. I'll maybe call the dealer tomorrow and see if they know anything about that.
I'll try...
This morning was an extremely cold day (-37'C without wind) and my MIL came on after driving for 10 minutes. Code is P0116. I also noticed the cooling fan was stuck on.
I did have the jeep plugged in for a few hours before starting it. It's not like it was plugged in for 12 hours. I did...
Stock size tires? That seems kind of high. That's about where mine is at 100km/h (62mph)
EDIT: Wait a sec. Mine is about 2k at 110km/h. I find that's where I get the best mileage at and it doesn't have to downshift to get up a hill.
Mine is a 2005. I have the same thing on the hose on the driver's side. It's wet in the middle of the hose no where near the fittings. It's been like this since I got the jeep in 2008. My fluid level hasn't changed since the steering rack was replaced in 2009. Even had some extremely cold...
Well darn. I think I'll just take it in to get done then. Was quoted an hour which isn't too costly. I do need to buy the seal from the dealer. It seems nobody else can get it. Is there anything else in addition to the seal that I should get? Bearing, bushing or what ever it is called?
Thanks
Today I just discovered that my front driver's side axle seal is leaking. I saw a drop of oil on the driveway and upon further inspection it appears to be the axle seal.
What size is the axle nut? I am finding 2 different sizes on the internet; 35mm and 36mm. I hope it is 36 because I...
In the video I saw he didn't even take the tires off to change the shock. He had a 2.5 inch lift where as I do not. What I was thinking was that I could leave the tires on and raise the body with a jack and get the top bolt that way. I don't have jack stands so I don't want to crawl...
Looks like I will be changing out my rear shocks in the very near future. On a cool day it sounds like my back tires are flat. The shocks bang that much. Before I only had that issue when it was really cold (like -30'C). So I guess that means they need to be changed.
From what I have saw...
Good to know canadian tire offers a lifetime replacement warranty. According to their website it's a spectra radiator. I believe the napa here offers the same one.
I wonder if in order to get the warranty it needs to be installed by them. I don't trust the canadian tire here. I was...
