    trailer hitch question

    The stock fuel tank skid plate has been in place since new and the previous owner was good enough to keep the underside clean. The rear axle looks like it started rusting last year and no other rust is visible without taking things apart so far. Sent from my Lumia 1520 using Tapatalk

    Is their an advantage for shackles over hooks? The drivers manual says the stock tow hooks are rated for 5000lbs and some of the aftermarket hitch hooks are right around that area as well. Sent from my Lumia 1520 using Tapatalk

    Since I am going to be getting a hitch installed next week, I'm wondering what location/s are safe to hook up to for emergency towing without a hitch hook. I have a rear tow hook, but from my understanding, is not compatible with a hitch installed.

    abs brakes weird

    I know with the two different gm cars I've owned, the abs always tested itself when the engine is started, put in drive, and got to 5 mph. My KJ doesn't have abs, so I can't say anything on it. If their are no codes, it could just be a self test. Sent from my Lumia 1520 using Tapatalk
