    Driver door handle issue

I would pull the door panel off and watch the levers/cables in the door as you operate the handle - looks like there is probably a seized pivot or lever on the door latch causing the handle to not operate correctly and for the power lock to stick.

Check Engine Light with Code P0117. Doesn't appear to be overheating, and temp gauge seems to be working fine.

A partially stuck open thermostat can flag coolant temp codes - how long does it take for your engine to warm up when driving it in the morning? If it doesn't get up to temp in the time frame the ecm is looking for it will eventually flag a code.

Almost stalling at idle, 2x random misfire codes + rich exhaust bank 1. Need direction.

Try isolating the purge valve from the intake manifold - could be sucking fuel in through the vapor line.

What did you do to your jeep today?

If you can get a proper O2 sensor socket that really helps and also removing it when the exhaust is hot helps.

I'm sure you would be able to install some used heads - personally I only like doing a job like that once but it is your decision on what route you want to go.

    Oil on plug. Chasing codes.

Only problem with a used motor is you are possibly getting one that could have a potential valve seat issue down the road - I would go with a good set of rebuilt heads.

shoot :( dropped valve seat makes sense - probably just unplug both and see how it runs.

    Oil on plug. Chasing codes.

It might work - you could also try pressing the valve up and down a bunch of times with a small pry bar before putting the rocker back in to see if you can get it to close all the way. Best way to check would be to remove the exhaust manifold and that way you could try and get in and clean the...

were you able to compare the valve spring heights to confirm if it is stuck open?

    Oil on plug. Chasing codes.

You really need to determine why there is no compression on that cylinder before ordering more parts - you have to get to the root cause of the problem - just ordering random parts is not going to solve your problem and cost you more money in the long run. Just some advice from a long time...

    Oil on plug. Chasing codes.

The missing rocker would keep the valve closed due to the valve spring pushing up on it - but chances are the valve being stuck open is what caused the rocker to fall off in the first place. In your picture the valve spring looks compressed which means it is more than likely bent or the spring...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Don’t take this the wrong way but a $1000 for a rough PT that needs an engine is way too much money. They are not an easy car to change an engine on.

    Oil on plug. Chasing codes.

Judging by your picture of the plugs at the top of this page I would say #6 is burning oil. Also 1 and 3 look like those cyl's are running rich by how black the plugs are. P0175 is rich bank 2 code which would explain the rough idle and then running ok once the engine gets some more air. I have...
