I have been reading the threads and most are years old regarding the issue. I've performed the delete and would like to eliminate the cel. Is a tune the only solution at this time, besides putting black tape over the light? I understand that the SEGR kit/mod fooled the system but are no longer available as a unit, kit or schematics. I have no problem with a tune but I am in Mexico and I am quite satisfied with the stock power.
I already had the Jeep seized by the Aduana and got it back after six plus months and about 40,000pesos in lawyer and mordida. I am in the process of importing it into Mexico and that has cost another 35,500pesos. So I'm not cheap but this Jeep is already gold plated and I would prefer an economical solution.

The other option is to contact a guy called Yeti on Facebook, he does online car tuning, and was very active with CRD's on Lost Jeeps forum.

I live in Mexico and have a 2006 Liberty card legally imported that has segr bypass, that I would like to sell.

Here are some pictures when I bought it. Just dealing with a dead battery and alternator failure. Bought the tune gadget and when I get it, I'll contact Yeti again for the EGR delete tune.

Hey, I just re-joined up again here. What happened to all the info stuff for the CRD's?
I'm the guy that designed the SEGR module. It's the EGR delete without removing (or you could) the EGR but fooling the ECM.
I still got all the plans if anybody is interested. Just PM me or let's get the CRD Info section back.
I have a bunch of part numbers, and accessory part numbers.

Hi, I am very interested in your SEGR module design. I am happy with the power of the jeep and just want the EGR CEL gone. I am hesitant to flashing the computer

There is no need to flash the ECM. Many others have done this with success. I designed it so that if one had to take it back to the dealer for warranty work, a simple jumper plug can be inserted, and everything is back to stock. All parts can be retained.
I'm trying to see if there is a place here on the forum where information specific to the CRD. I have collected other information that others could benefit by, such as: Turbo hoses, Bosch Part numbers, Mann Pro Vent, Lift pump that fits in the fuel tank, etc.
If there is an interest, let's see how many want this.

You are a wealth of information. There is a CRD folder and possibly a files tab where info cand be stored.

Thanks. The problem is if I post here, as topics come in, this thread will get pushed further and further down, then after a short while, nobody will be able to find the info.
When I was with this forum about 14 years ago, there was a dedicated section where reference info was kept. I see that is gone now. Just wondering if the members want something like that.
The type of info in that section was for part numbers, mods like the Mann Pro Vent for the oil breather, the SEGR module, Bosch part numbers for say the Lift Pump that fits in the fuel tank. Do we want this?

I see what you're saying. It should be under the folder "Resources" but I can't figure out how to add to that folder. Maybe there is a moderator that can explain how to add the information. What you want to contribute is very valuable to the group.
I also couldn't figure out how to personal message someone. My email is [email protected] if you can send it to me.

Ok, figured it out. Click the "Resources" tab at the top of the group. The Resources page will appear, and then click the small orange window on the right of the screen that reads "add resource" (just like the post reply). Then a window will appear that begins "Post resource in...", click "example category" just below and another window will open with all the fields to complete and provisions for uploading files. Simple and clear as mud.
