I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. So I thought I'd share the crossbars I fabricated for the 04 Libby today:
It was a pretty simple build. All I needed was two 48" threaded sections of 3/4" galvanized steel pipe, 4 u bolts, 4 galvanized steel end caps, and a a 8' of pipe insulation. They mount right where there are some holes on the OEM roof rails.
I also bought some black rustoleum. Maybe someone can give some insight as to whether I should apply the rustoleum.
Anyway, I highly recommend this set up to anyone who doesn't want to dish out a small fortune for crossbars.
