Anyone with jba y link have this problem. I have a random rattle that comes and goes and this seems like a candidate for the rattle

That's the source for sure.

Just remove the sway bar - you don't need it anyway. I removed mine a long time ago and no problems. You can also take off the "bull nuts" hanging from the differential if you want to remove more unsprung weight.

Wierd question but what are the negative affects of removing the sway bar? I tow a popup camper so not sure it would matter.

Does it sway left and right or teeter totter. sway bar only helps with teeter totter not left to right movement...Yank it out...

I tow a 2400lb boat/trailer and have been to Tennessee from Ohio several times driving down I-75 at 75+ MPH and never a problem with sway.

Problems with other idiot drivers? Yea, but that's a different topic... :biggun:

Hmmmm! This might explain the sound I've been hearingl. It's pretty faint, I can only hear it when I am next to a curb driving or something out that allows the sound to bounce off. Almost a chain rattling sound while driving. Really faint though not loud at all.

I got some 1.5” X 1/8” thick steel strap that I am going to use as spacers under the rear sway bar bolts. Because I am having the same problem.

I tow a 5X8 open and a 6X10 enclosed with mine and no problems with the sway bar being off
