Hi I am "new" here, I have been visiting for sometime but never posted.

Just wondering if anyone has ever had problems with Rustys Offroad, I am getting frustrated with them and shipping. On Tuesday December 5th I ordered my full lift from them, only paid for Ground shipping but that shouldn't make a difference. It is now Monday of the following week and they HAVENT EVEN SENT THEM TO UPS. I have called twice and have kind of been given BS answers first they told me there was a mixup with my order and it would be sent out right away..... that was Thursday. Then today I called just after they opened and they told me that they ran out of Struts... not my problem.. but would have been nice if they had contacted me (or updraded me to the Rancho RSX for my inconvinence. ) Again they reasured me they would deffinately be sent today. I came home from work at 11 PM checked my tracking number and yet again they havent been shipped out.

Anyone have any Idea who specifically to talk to ay Rusty's I'm really frustrated.....

Sorry to vent on my first post but this is rediculous

Its only been 4 business days....It usually takes 7-10 for ground shipping. I know the excitement is unbearable, but Im sure it will be worth the wait.

Yeah but Rusty's hasnt even sent it out UPS doesnt have it. It is sitting in Rusty's warehouse somewhere! So it will be 7 days from whenever they decide to take it to UPS on top of the week I've already waited.

BTW you have no Idea how bad it is I cant wait.... the car has been off the road since October I needed money to get new Brakes a Windshield and Tires so that I can get it back on the Road soooo now I have 245 75 16 MTR's that I cant even drive till I get the lift.

Patience young one. O:)

Ive gotten stuff shipped to me and I never even got a tracking #. Then when I get it, I get a tracking # just to tell me it was delivered! Also, make sure all you info is right. I ordered something from All J's over the phone and they got my name wrong. I called back in a few weeks and it hadnt even shipped! Didnt match up with the credit card. :-s They should of at least called me though.. 8-[

Don't feel bad about having to wait 7-10 days. I live in S.Korea and have to order all my KJ stuff over the Internet. My normal waiting time is 3-5 weeks!! But I've gotten used to it and "patience is definitely a virtue". It'll get there \:D/

Tony

Edit: With the exception of "summitracing.com". They've quickly become my new favorite website. Somehow, they get my orders to me in like 5-7 days.....love those guys!!

Also Rusty's has had a laps in customer service reported before, you get what you pay for, even in the S & R department. Sometimes low price means less people to help get it ordered, on the shelf, and out the door.

You will "get what you pay for" in that it is the best lift for the money, and I'm glad it's on its way. My experience with them and their customer service was nothing but positive, other than them trying to sell me their shocks but that is expected. And I have read many many more negative CS issues with some of their competitors. (This thread included)

You'll be just fine and happy with what you went with. If you do encounter problems just look here on this site and there will be plenty of answers and alternatives to eliminate the issues.

Congrats on the lift!! It's almost there!!

I've never had a problem before; in fact, they've always been willing to talk and answer any questions I've ever had. The shipping has also been quick. I would talk to Tony or Rusty.

Take it easy,
OG
