hey! heres some pics i took tonight cuz i was really bored haha went behind lowes and snapped some pics with the roof lights on. its an 02 renegade, 31k miles, bought it with 27k. BTW im Ray, im 20, i ma laborer for a home improvement company :)

i got 15x7 cragar d-window wheels from summit racing, they are 4.5" backspacing with a mastercraft 235-75-15 tire. they BARELY BARELY rub when i turn, theres a tiny bit of plastic on the inner front wheelwell where you can feel a divit where the tire wore it away behind the foglight, not through though. i guess they stick out 1" from stock cuz i heard stock BS is 5.5? but these dont rub the pinch weld either, VERY close, like paper thin close, but they dont rub or touch it at all haha

i went to summit one day and they had an aem brute force CAI on the clearance rack for open box, i got it for 125, ididnt know how much they were new until i got home, 240!!! i was like OMG!

im saving up for a BDS 2" lift and either a mopar, yakima or thule roof rack, tough choice. i wanna get a limited slip rear diff or a air locker, but i dont need that right now. one thing, since the 02 libertys are 1" higher than 03-later, will the bds 2" kit only raise my jeep 1"?? just curious, it crossed my mind

for interior, i have a JVC cd player, i forgot the model, but its newer and its silver. and i have four 6.5" alpine type-s speakers. im saving up for a q-logic box and a alpine type-r 10" or 12" single sub.

onto the pics! nice to meet you guys! these mud pics are from a couple months ago, thats my cousins truck

The BDS kit will raise your jeep what it states. I have the BDS on my 04 and like it. I am running the Cragar 397's with 5" BS. Good luck with all of your modifications!!

Nice shots. The third to last (rear 3/4) would look awesome as a desktop!

^lol it IS my desktop haha ;)

thanks for the compliments guys! im going out to take more pics, i just washed it and armoralled the tires, looks sweet

i keep having people say it looks like a jurasic park truck, so i might have a custom vinyl shop make a like red/yellow/white JURASSIC PARK lettering for the windshield, BUT, theres no room cuz of the wipers at the top of the window, same as the back. but it would be pretty cool i guess :)

That's what I was going to ask.

And do you have a close-up shot of the head unit? Did you swap it yourself?

Ah, it looks good without the grab-bar. I have no idea if that helps at all, it is one hell of a mess to clean that sticky grab bar.

well the day i got my liberty, i had it next to a friends 04, it appeared my was upside down, which i think it is. BUT, with the stock 16" green 6 spoke wheels and a 235-70-16 tire, the window had about 1/4" clearance or it would hit the tire and not open. unless the tailgate was opened(if the mount was the other way), or so im assuming it would hit the other way if it was that close with the tire tipped out this way. but i dunno. maybe ill flip it around and see. cuz with these new wheels, they stick out about an inch farther than stock, so theres plenty of room for the window to swing open now.

ill try to get a close up pic soon for you. im loyal to jvc head units now, i love them and never had a single problem. great build quality, nice functions button functions, not sloppy buttons, easy to use.

im saving up for a subwoofer after i get my roof rack. im getting a q-logic box and an alpine 10" type-r sub. i dunno what amp im getting yet, maybe an infinity amp.

are you talking about the bar that goes above the glove box? If so 02's or maybe just Renegades, didnt come with those, My renegade doesnt have that either.

Yeah, it started on 04. That grab bar. You can see the project here:
http://jeepprojects.com/content.php?article.45
It costs about $100.

Once it is scratched, it is not getting cleaned, and occupies space there.
Also I am not sure about the grab handle on the pass side. I hate that thing just as much.. People hold on to it and block mirror all the time!!!

oh, and the spare tire mount, it was upside down lol, it was like that when i bought it. with the stock wheels, the hatch window was like 1/4" away from hitting it when it swung open, so i thought they put it like that to clear the glass. and never bothered to flip it to see if it would hit with the stock wheels/tires the other way. but i fixed it and now its all good haha
