    Block Heater - Can't locate

Thanks, yeah I've tried looking passenger side as well... it seems even more hurried to get to the freeze plugs on that side... I forgot to mention, it's an '05 CRD, but I think all the CRD's are the same?

    Block Heater - Can't locate

I know this has been asked before, in many forums... after over 2 years of looking and reading posts, I still can't find the thing... I bought mine used, but window sticker was in Glove Box, says it was Factory Installed... Can't find the cord (not on Dipstick, nor anywhere else) can't find...

    Leak up by Radiator

Yeah... I'm glad they worked with us on this... it's funny we tried to get them to give us an extended warranty and they wouldn't go for it... now I bet they wish they would have to some extent... would have made some of their money back... So turns out the trans lines were damaged... top it...

    Leak up by Radiator

Turns out it was the Trans lines to the Trans cooler... Dealer wanted me to split the $570 repair with them... service guy went back to sales manager for me, and they are taking care of it themselves... dang right they should! :)

    Help with MPG/Performance Mods

Just recently got our '05 Jeep Liberty CRD. (and I've been reading and posting trying to learn and get a plan together for this awesome little jeep) Trying to get some help and assistance on planning out our long term goals for the Jeep. Primary use is a daily driver for me, approx...

    Replacement Rear Headrests

Thanks guys... I do need the gray leather... I found a bunch on car-part.com... emailed one yard for a quote... they wanted like $35ea approx... but want to know shipping etc... Not really a budget on them... I think ~<$50/ea seems reasonable...

    Replacement Rear Headrests

Anyone have a line on how I could locate some inexpensive replacement rear head rests? Our Jeep didn't come with them. The dealer contacted the previous owner but didn't locate them. I've seen the parts listed on the Mopar/Jeep replacement parts page, but they are like $200 per head rest...

New Jeep - Help with Mods (Bull Bar/Hitch)

Hmm... didn't want to cut the bumper... but if it's something that can be hidden, might be worth it... will certainly have to research this some more, and see if I can find some photos of it done, etc. Thanks for the info.

    Leak up by Radiator

Wow! Factory trans and power steering coolers... crazy... I wouldn't have thought power steering would need it, but guess it could get a little heated on a downhill or something... Kind of cool. We were glad to get the CRD and tow package. Not likely we ever will having a 7.2L Ford...

New Jeep - Help with Mods (Bull Bar/Hitch)

Bunmer! It figures Id end up with the trouble year. Seems there isn't a great solution for the 2005 version. Ugh. I just can't see spending 1200-1500 on a bumper and what not. Drat.

New Jeep - Help with Mods (Bull Bar/Hitch)

So it would be a good alternative to a cheap brush guard and tow hitch and less costly than the arb. Guess I'll have to see if wife likes it and start saving money.

    Leak up by Radiator

Ah. Ok. Yeah. I wouldn't have thought steering lines would be going up to the radiator area. Thanks

    Leak up by Radiator

So, I'm scheduled to go into the dealer in the next week or so... When we bought our liberty I noticed a small leak up front, but wasn't sure what it was... Wanted to verify from what I'm reading on the board, and what I originally suspected it might be. it's an '05 CRD we do have the tow...

New Jeep - Help with Mods (Bull Bar/Hitch)

Cool, hadn't seen that site before... looks like a LOT of good parts... So since we've been on the subject, what do people think of the Skid plates, and other 4xguard parts sold by jeepynbyal, including the brush guard? Jeep Liberty KJ Brush Guard mounting platform Looks like a pretty...

Additional 12v and iPhone for stereo

Curious what others have done... The 12v plug in the front is nice (having it hot all the time is nice for camping, etc) but we've got not only iPhone chargers we need in the car, but a radar detector we'd like to have hooked up... and eventually be adding a Garmin GPS unit... I've been...
