I changed the oil about 2 months ago myself. Filter was NOT cross-threaded. And certainly not loose. I changed the oil again today just to check the filter (see above post). It was SNUG. And since the filter is at the back of the engine, I am not sure how oil could get all over FORWARD...

2008 Liberty Sport 3.7 4x4 Oil leak somewhere on drivers side around the bottom engine compartment. Cannot tell what is leaking though. Too cramped and too many hydraulic lines in that area. Everything is dripping. What is that small sized "cooler" in the front bottom of the grill area...

Well, DUH, you state the obvious. :D The question was, is it just a reminder or is there some kind of oil sensor saying the oil is dirty? But I do thank you for the details on reseting the indicator light. How many miles is a reset good until it comes on again??

There's a light on the dashboard that says "CHANGE OIL". Stays on for short while when first starting engine and you drive away. Is that just some kind of reminder light? Or is it "saying" there is a problem detected? How do you reset the reminder? I *did* change the oil last month...

2008 Liberty Sport 3.7 4x4 Grrrrr stock cd 6 spkr radio blew the fuse. Turned on car. Turned on radio, 1 second later the fuse blew. Have to go buy a new 30 amp fuse tomorrow...... no idea if it will blow again. Is this a common problem with Libby's?

Might be a sign of the blower motor having a problem. The way the resistor block function was explained to me, is that position 4 is "straight thru" full power no resistance added. Position 3 is some resistance and down to position 1 is the most resistance. Resistance slows down the blower...
