I thought it was standard practice to jack the body up with wood on a Toyota?? A lot of these guys are just poseurs anyway. #-o There are a lot of Hilux's (Tacoma??) over here with the 'bodies' jacked with wood.. note NOT suspension. Doesn't look very aesthetically pleasing does it??

Hi, The KJ has a Disc Brake and a Hub Brake on the rear. The brakes 'shoes' are used for the E-Brake (Handbrake) and the 'pads' are used for normal driving. It sounds like you need to change the pads, and I would possibly check the level on the handbrake material. I do no have the...

Marlon, See thats the thing.. i think the older KJ looks more rugged... The bumper/indicator area is tougher.. and I dislike the new grille...all the limiteds here now have chrome ones...kerchow And from the right angle, the oldie looks tough! I am talking myself into keeping it...
