4x4 light in instrument cluster works backward

Yeah, I figured. I will reuse it. The company I work for also has a large supply of o-rings with a cost literally in pennies so I could probably get the correct one as well. Thanks for the tip.

4x4 light in instrument cluster works backward

Got it - yeah, its part time only. I wonder if they use the same switch. Dealer quoted me $78 plus $5 for the "seal" which is probably an o-ring.

4x4 light in instrument cluster works backward

OK, the dealer tells me there are two available transfer cases for the 2002 Liberty V6 automatic...the Command Trac and the Selec Trac. Which does he have, or does it matter if they use the same switch? I didn't have the VIN # so they couldn't tell me which one. This is actually a friend's...

4x4 light in instrument cluster works backward

Yep, you are correct. I found the thread here: http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/f202/how-change-transfer-case-position-switch-44188/ So, for around $75 I can probably make the light work properly. Thanks

'03 Liberty hot heat passenger side, cold drivers side

Thanks for the reply. Coolant level is good, and since there is hot heat on one side, I tend to think its not a plugged core, air in sys, etc. I'll have another look.

'03 Liberty hot heat passenger side, cold drivers side

Hi, Working on a friend's 2003 Liberty 3.7L...initially it only blew basically cold air despite the control being on full hot. I drilled the hole in the pivot of the hot / cold blend door, put in the screwdriver, and freed up the servo motor. I can see the screwdriver turn with the door from...
