Sooo, I know it has been awhile, new job, remodeled laundry room, sons wedding, finally got the squid to give a code, P0304. We will see if we can make it run smooth again. Course, as you all can see, not in a real hurry. Good to have back up wheels
Shouldn’t, it is pretty easy to check. Safely Slide under the JEEP and manually twist the driveline back and forth, if it moves more than a tick back and forth, it could be your problem. If the U joints are bad, it will be very obvious.

I have a 2005 CRD w/330709 miles on it. It threw a piston rod bearing, still runs but is crippled to say the least. I am emotionally attached so do not have a clue what I would replace it with.
Should I rebuild the engine, or move on? I have owned it since 15K miles in 2007.
