Coolant is good all around. Also the water pump was replaced as well. I'm guessing that when doing the head gasket they had to flush the entire system.
Curious as to why jeep switched to HOAT coolant? My water pump has a metal impellar now, so if thats the reason I don't see why it would...
Ok so I've had this problem for a long time now. I just had the head gasket changed so the whole system was flushed and my heat still does not work. Where can I begin with this? Is changing the heater core hard? It's cold and I have no heat.
Well it's not me doing the work, so if he's going to drop then engine, whatever. I went ahead and got all the clutch parts plus the input shaft bearing. I forgot to get the rear main seal and the, what I think, the output shaft seal from the transmission to the driveshaft. Gotta order that.
So after JUST buying the lift kit, turns out my head gasket is gone to davey jones locker. I'm going to get a head gasket kit, head bolt set, and TC gasket kit all from Fel-pro. Ease of Mind > money spent. Also picking up a new failsafe thermostat and water pump while getting the work done. Also...
I might send you a message once I get the jeep into the mechanic here. I'm not sure if I have a blown HG or not. If so I might replace the heads as well if they are warped too.
Ok so I pulled the trigger after 3 yrs and got the lift kit parts.

2003 Dakota Sensa-trac loading shock #58649 for the rear

Hey guys I bought the wrong window regulator :icon_twisted: and now I need to sell it. It's not the stub attachment type, it's the hole attachment type. These are mid 2006-2008 models I believe. It's for the driver's side rear window. $70 obo shipped. Email is preferable...
I'll be honest, I kept them. I'm glad I kept them. The amps power my infinity reference 6.5's amazingly. I just remounted the amps on the doors in a spot that didn't hinder the window or speaker location.
Well after driving to work today it seems to be shifting again. I have just been double clutching it to be safe as well. I think once some more paychecks come in I'm going to be doing a transmission fluid change on her.
Ok well I posted in another thread and read about this same issue. However I'm going to go into more detail about this.
So the other day I noticed the I had to man handle the shifter into gears while driving. Then yesterday I stopped to get my ID checked and it wouldn't go into gear at all...
