Thanks - appreciate it - this thing is kicking butt - I know if it breaks I am totally screwed

I'm changing the crankshaft position sensor on my son-in-laws 08 Liberty with 158k on it. Got the connect off, the bolt out. I was able to spin the sensor in the block but I can't pull it out. I tried prying it but it is just breaking. Is there a trick to this? Help would be appreciated. Paul
