Haven't seen any for the '05 and later, just the pre-'05 models. I've been wanting some for my '05 for awhile now, but haven't found any makers.

I flat tow my '05 KJ frequently without issue. My '05 manual says to put the transfer case in Neutral and the auto transmission in Park. Of course you have to have the ignition key in to unlock the steering.

Since no one actually answered your question, it goes back near the third brakelight, but can actually fit anywhere you can access the wiring for the third brakelight. I have a similar unit on my Miata that I mounted on the inner rear quarter panel. They work well for what they were designed for.

Bob...I suspect that is just a carryover from the Grand Cherokees. If you look up an '05 Grand Cherokee it lists the same numbers for the same two lights. My '05 doesn't have those lights either. FWIW, I have used this site for several different vehicles and haven't had a problem with wrong...

pdxKJ...my '05 Limited has been doing this recently since it has gotten colder and damp in the mornings. Mine sounds like someone has put gravel into the differential. I've determined it only makes the noise when applying the brakes slightly so I believe it related to the notorious brake moan...

I have recently noticed a crunching sound coming from the rearend area of my Libby when I first start it on cold mornings and back it out of the driveway. Sounds like someone put a handful of gravel in the rear differential. The only time I hear this is the first time I back it up on cold...

CB4017...my newly installed LBJs look just like the second photo that Marlon_JBT posted with the blue stripe around the lower half. No other discernable differences that I can see. Jeepjeepster...you are correct there is no alignment needed unless they change the settings on the tie-rods...

F23 Recall I don't know exactly how long it took them to change the ball joints. They had my Jeep for three hours from the time I dropped it off until they called and said it was ready. No alignment was performed, or necessary.

I took my '05 Limited into the Dealer today and had the lower ball joint recall completed. I didn't wait for the letter. I had the printout with me from Jeep showing the work had not been completed, but they didn't even ask to see it. I don't know if they used the new (?) designed ball...

Thanks for the help guys, I figured it out finally. On each headrest there are two bottons, one on each side where the leg slides in however, one of them is almost flush with it's housing and is hard to see. When you pull the headrest up, that button moves out flush making it harder to see...

Anyone know the secret? I have tried to remove the headrests from my '05 Limited, to install some billet aluminum spacers, without success. I pull up while holding the release botton in, goes up about 5" then stops...will not come out no matter what I do! Even the most simple things can...
