    CV axle change

Quick update. Finally was able to work on the KJ. Was able to remove the front driveshaft and the rear CV was definitely bad. Drove without the driveshaft on and still had the vibration/wobble at around 55mph. Then took apart the passenger side where the inner CV axle joint seemed to have...

    CV axle change

My mechanic thinks it's the front driveshaft not the cv axle. There's a boot that's partially torn. What is the best option to get the parts? He doesn't think it's that bad. When the car hasn't been driven for a while it seems to be less severe, then drive it for a few hundred miles and you...

    CV axle change

Of course UPS loses my package with the intermediate shaft hasn't been scanned for 36 hours and the car is virtually not driveable at this point......ugh

    CV axle change

Somebody posted earlier on this thread a Napa PN for the CV driveshaft (brings up a different part on Napa's website)?? Few questions: Do I need an alignment after? I just had one done after replacing the UCAs. Will this drain my axle fluid? Going to order the intermediate shaft tonight...

    CV axle change

I'm going to replace the CV as well. Is NMD 958355 the correct Napa part number for the passenger side? I'm a Saturday mechanic at best so I'm worried about getting it right I did my lift with some difficulty but got it done. How foolproof is the cv axle / intermediate shaft replacement?

Having wobble/bad vibration w/ OME lift at high speed

it doesnt shake going around corners which leads me to believe its not the CV but I will check. it's really just on the highway at high speeds 60+mph i get the wobble/vibrations or when coasting to a stop around 40mph i get the reoccuring thud sound

Having wobble/bad vibration w/ OME lift at high speed

Been running a full OME lift for roughly 11k miles and just recently started noticing a horrible sound from coming from the passenger side front. It begins wobbling/vibrating intensely around 60mph but doesn't occur 100% of the time. When coasting to a stop sometimes you can hear what sounds to...

    How do you change sensors

Where would bank 1 sensor 2 be located on '05. I know it is after the cat drivers side, but I don't see anything in the pictures. Haven't had a look underneath yet, but I got P0138 code when my CEL came on the other day. See the part on autozone for $24 so was hoping to replace myself. Thanks...

    Creaky Suspension?

yes but if I havent identified the tri-link as being the issue, replacing it seems extreme. I started noticing this right after I got the rear LCA's replaced under the recall. trouble is, this is around the same time I installed my lift. :( It's starting to come back now too with the warmer...
