    Thud

I will want to rock the jeep left to right and not front to back, right? While that is happening look for play in the ball joint and for rotten outer bushings, right?

    Thud

I'll have to crawl under the jeep and take a look. If it is worn out I'm guessing the bolts will be a nightmare cause we live in the Wisconsin rust belt. Also seems like buying the mopar part is recommended from what I've read but it's $300+!!

    Thud

Not sure, do you inspect like front ball joints? Jack wheel off ground and shake wheel with hands at 12 and 6 then at 3 and 9 looking for movement?

    Thud

06 Liberty 3.7 limited 88,000 miles Doesn't do it all the time. I will back the Liberty out of the garage, put it in drive, when I push on the gas I feel a "thud". I put on greasable ujoints a few years ago. No vibrations or metal on metal noises. Usually just the one thud and it's fine...

Are the hoses to your heater core hot or only 1 of them? Maybe your heater core is plugged?

    Rapid heater core failure!

If you can take pictures as you go I think you would be the first to document how to do this. Would help a lot of people. I had a recent heater core topic here http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/f196/possible-heater-core-replacement-59305/

    Possible Heater core replacement

I'm original poster. I got lucky. I found a leak where the rubber hose connects to the heater core under the hood. I'm assuming it was then dripping onto the exhaust and entering the cab through the fresh air vent. Not sure why it was leaking, I removed clamps, cleaned things up and...

    Tire pressure monitoring woes

My overhead clearly says "spare". Can I put a new sensor in the spare then drive around like the other 4 tires?

    Tire pressure monitoring woes

06 Liberty 89,000 miles limited Lifespan on the batteries has been reaching the end slowly on all the tpm sensors. I've replaced 3/5 so far with no problems. I haven't touched the spare tpm sensor yet. Currently I'm getting the "low spare pressure" in the overhead info center every time...

06 Liberty mopar remote start woes

Getting cold in Wisconsin and want to get this fixed. 06 Liberty limited 76,000 miles. Bought it used in 09 and had the dealer install the mopar remote start. Worked fine for a few years, started right up first time every time. Last year it went bad. Both of our fobs would try to start...

Creaking noise when jeep is uneven

http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/f196/bad-creaking-noise-coming-rear-end-52253/index3.html Update I looked at where the rear sway bar mounts just like the above link. I believe I fixed my creaking. I loosened the bolts, put a little grease under the bar where it contacts the lower control arm and...
