Sorry I didnt answer either of you, I gave up on this and stopped checking. I do still have them, if you are still interested. I will remind myself to check back all this week, then they will most likely be trashed or ebay'd.

I had a similar problem, but I also had several other symptoms, so this may or may not help... I was checking all my fuses and when I reinstalled fuse #34, everything went back to normal. Might have been dirty or had a little too much oxidation on the blades. Wouldnt hurt to take a look at all...

Clean it first

It wouldnt even fit. There is a difference in the # of bolts on the pan I believe. Dont remember the numbers, what the parts stores have that data in the computer system. Count your bolts, and when you go to the store, ask them to make sure the filter your buying is for the right one

I just bypassed the amp problem altogether by replacing the wiring at the same time as the speakers. I lost my tweeters in the process, but an inexpensive amp could easily fix that problem.
