    Hankook DynaPro - Opinions?

Hankook's are awesome. I've had Good Year Wranglers, BFG and Hankook Dynapro's, and I will take the Hankook every time. The only negative is the road noise, but I kind of like it. Most of my driving is split between off road and county roads, with no interstate travel.

    Strange Starting Issue

It is strange, isn't it? I really think it has something to do with the passive security killing the ignition, but who knows?

    Strange Starting Issue

Hey all, So, once in a great while, my Liberty will kind of die off while trying to start. Kind of like using a non chipped spare to start the car. It only happens once, then it starts right up. The issue normally happened once every few months for the last year or so, but now it seems like...

    07 Sport Radiator (CarQuest?)

The general consensus around here, is that you should replace the radiator with genuine Mopar replacement parts. I was in a situation where I didn't have time to wait, so I put a $90 Vision radiator in my 05, and it has been fine for 16 months. That's just my experience, but it seems that...

    High mileage club

I don't really consider anything under 200K high mileage, but I'll be there soon enough. 2005 Renegade - 141,*** and it still runs great. Lots of off road use and abuse and light hauling. I don't drive it on any interstates, as we have none, so 55 - 60 is really the max speed we usually travel...

Replaced my thermostat now worse than before.

    https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Jeep_Liberty/Torque_Specs_%26_Socket_Sizes This says 9 lbs.

Replaced my thermostat now worse than before.

Put it in a pot of warming water, and it should open up. Raise the temperature of the water slowly, and note what temperature it opens up at. I don't know if excessive temperatures will damage the thermostat, so be somewhat careful.

    Warped rotors

Just my 2c, I thought I had severely warped rotors on my Liberty, but it was worn out tie rod ends. I know, but it didn't feel my other cars with bad tie rod ends. For what it's worth, every time I thought my rotors were warped (in any car), it almost always turned out to be something else.

    05 Liberty With 02 Radiator

I want to thank everyone again for your help! I started remodeling my bathroom, so I haven't been quick to reply. ltd02, I am not connecting the stock lines to the radiator, as my '05 did not have radiator connections. This means that I have to find fittings that would work. Thanks renegade...

    05 Liberty With 02 Radiator

Well, after searching for compression fittings, I am still lost. I don't see anything that would be any different than what I have, as far as the threads going into the radiator are concerned. All of these compression fittings I found, look exactly the same on the thread side. I'm not sure how...

    05 Liberty With 02 Radiator

Thanks for the replies! Everything is routed properly, and it actually doesn't leak too bad as it is, but it definitely needs to be fixed. I have asked more people than I care to count, and [I]nobody[I] could tell me what kind of fittings I needed. No worries on the delay, Bob. I have been...

    05 Liberty With 02 Radiator

Hi Dude, thanks for the reply. The radiator is aftermarket. I believe the box said Vision or something like that.

    05 Liberty With 02 Radiator

Hello, I had to replace my radiator a while back, and I received a 2002 radiator with the transmission cooling inlet and outlet. As my 05 did not come with the radiator cooler, I am trying to run my cooling lines to the radiator, but the 3/8 brass pipe thread adapter does not seal properly. The...

HOW TO: Disable BeltAlert System(SeatBelt Buzzer)

Thanks! I don't really need my Jeep yelling at me while I am creeping through the woods at 8 MPH. I seriously doubt the seat belts will have a whole lot of effect at those speeds, though an airbag deployment might be "exciting".
