Does anybody know the fluid capacity of the front and rear differential? It doesn't seem to be listed in the owners manual. I want to get my changed (60,000 mi.) I have an '05 and it runs like a top and want to keep it that way. Also what is the fluid capacity of the transfer case. Thinking...
I put the original Fortera HL tires on when my vehicle was brand new. I had Goodyear HP tires on a previous Jeep and knew I didn't like them much. I now have over 34,000 miles on the tires and they are wearing very well. They ride nice, handle quite well in wet weather, but not so well in the...
I have a black '05 limited with a chrome grill. I like the look alot. I added chrome protectors on my taillights also so there is chrome on every side of my KJ. Looks good. Previously I had an '03 limited with a solid black grill. It also looked good, but the one thing I notice with the...
This could be a stretch or it may sound ridiculous to, but this has happened twice to me in my '05. On 2 different occasions I have heard a somewhat faint ding-ding that you would hear like something was wrong. I turned the radio down to listen only to discover it was my cell phone dinging...
No I don't have any pictures. I did have to drill a couple of holes underneath the hood to hold it on. However if I can do it (actually did it twice because I had an '03 before my current '05) anybody can. Good luck it is basically easy.
Be careful, The needle nose grease fittings are for a different type of Grease zert. I think putting a hole in your boot is asking for more trouble than what its worth.
That's right, the ball joints have been covered, however check to make sure the ball joints were done on recall. It sounds like after that any problems will be taken care or. I have an'05 and if it is recalled I want to look at the Moogs. The transfer case of a 4 X 2 is a non factor since it...
If you think Consumer Reports is ******* the Jeep brand, although not too bad on the Liberty except for fuel economy. Wait till you see what they say about the Chevy Trailblazer. Especially about the reliability. Ouch. Good luck in GM land.
Just got 1 last Saturday at the dealer. They have a special on Saturday for $16.95. I bring my own oil (mobil 1) for $23.00 and Pure 1 filter for $5.00 and they charge me $12.95 for the change and inspections. All told, a little over $40.00 every 5000 miles.
