    Tire Report Dakota 245/70R16s

Were they cheap priced? If so, it just goes to show if it looks to good to be true it is and you get what you pay for. Of course are you really out much if you have road hazzard? Thanks for the report. I'm probably going to go with Firestone Destination A/Ts

    rubi rims vs libby rims

Fine print from a tire site that I think is relevant... 1. The dimensions shown are average tire design values for tires measured on specified measuring rim widths. Some tires may vary from this value by +/- 3% of the section height (affecting overall diameter), and +/- 4% of the section width...

I was just wondering if you have seen the Destination A/T sidewall and how it would compare?

    Dino vs Synthetic

Did you read my previous posts? Diesels have tougher requirements than gas.

    Dino vs Synthetic

o8k What oil do you favor in your CRD? Mobil 1 Turbodiesel truck (formerly Truck & SUV 5w-40) would be excellent for a diesel. Another unique excellent diesel oil but only in Canada :( is Esso XD3 extra 0w-30.

    rubi rims vs libby rims

I think my factory renegade rims are awesome.

    Dino vs Synthetic

All I would say is that if its group I or II its still dino and while it may not be correct to call group III a true synthetic, it is also just as incorrect to refer to group III as dino. Am I wrong here?

    Dino vs Synthetic

The problem with synthetics and Chrysler vehicles is that Chrysler states in the owners manual (at least for my 05 Liberty) something to the effect of under no circumstances to run oil longer than 6000 miles without an oil change. While synthetic is still the best, it loses its advantage over...

    Dino vs Synthetic

I apologize. As I already stated in my original post. No offense was meant. I just have a different opinion, and I feel that what you have posted confirms facts supporting my opinion. Don't be offended. Read and learn. Isn't that the purpose of these forums? I took the time to find this...

    Dino vs Synthetic

Of course what is good for a gas KJ and what is good for a CRD is a whole 'nother ball game. One could use a diesel rated oil in a gasoline engine. A gasoline oil doesn't always meet diesel specs however so what results one has with a diesel is irrelevant to a gasoline KJ

    Dino vs Synthetic

Mobil 1 isn't necessarily full synthetic. It all depends which Mobil 1 and which viscosity. It is however ignorant (no offense meant) to call it dino. but even then provided you use a good filter and change it frequently enough, dino can give excellent results. I'm planing on using Castrol...

    Largest tires on stock suspension

I'm going to go with Firestone Destination A/Ts. In the All Terrain category they seem to self clean the best. I'm going to go with P235/75R16. If anyone knows otherwise please share!

Looking For Suggestions (Upgrading Tires / Wheels On 2006 Liberty CRD)

The rubicons sure look sweet, but I'm kinda partial to the rims that came on my 05 renegade. I don't dislike them enough to go to something else. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think with the wider rubicon rims are more likely to rub. I actually saw a renegade rim for sale on ebay the other...
