The CRD is a different animal and if you want to look at any other vehicle systems, it takes an OEm level scantool to do it.

Thats a better than my 06 CRD mileage, theyre not that great on fuel but will out pull a hemi of the same vintage. I'd suggest finding a shop that has a snap on scantool or a drb3 oem scantool. The aftermarket tools are a waste of money

I live in California and bought an '06 CRD KJ from a guy who moved here from Canada, that's how rare these models are to find. I assembled my timing belt kit from ebay and Amazon.com... then I found sasquatchparts.com. They have most everything you need for a CRD.

Just fix the head gasket and run it. Be sure to use new head bolts and follow the torque specs. Be sure to clean the intake manifold and use new glow plugs.
