I had the same thing with mine, the shop said it was the anti-rust spray they put on the pipes.....they said after the pipes get really REALLY HOT a few times, the smell will go away.
Friggin' Sweet, I was gonna get those but I drive on the highway 75 miles a day......not good for a mud tire. They guy also told me that around 10k those tires have a tendancy to chunk up.......let me know how they go...I might have to get some on a seperate set of rims for major offroad days.
