chasing the elusive front end clunk
I have the same clunk. Even rough gravel it's a big rattling sound. I also have a 2 inch lift. Replaced the clevis bushes and it's still there. I've also put in longer bumpstops, but the problem is still there. I'm beginning to think it's the top of the shock hitting the lift spacer. Don't...- DeVilliers

11 miles per gallon.....it's not good, but is it bad?
Hi all, Just want to check on my fuel economy. City driving, I get 11 miles. The Jeep is lifted, bigger tires (245 R16) and a roof rack. Does it sound excessive? It feels excessive :) Thanks- DeVilliers

Window regulator clip 3d print
Hi all, I've done a search, but no luck. Yes, the old window regulator plastic clip problem. Left rear broke for the second time, yesterday. Is there perhaps a 3D printing file available somewhere for this? Getting it shipped to my part of the world (again) is a costly affair. Thanks- DeVilliers

Hi all, New Bilstein shocks are in! If I ever have to do it again, I'm selling the Jeep :p:D Took me 11 hours to replace 4 shocks o_O I also replaced the clevis bushes and brake pads so it took some extra time. Hi all, When I bought the Jeep, one of the things I did was to put a lift kit in and replace the shocks. The front shocks are shot and did not even do 3000 miles. Monroes......never again. I have a kit similar to the one below...- DeVilliers

Had to weld a socket to the sump plug to get the oil drained. What a fun morning. The Jeep was last serviced when I bought it (not by me). It was in need of an oil change and other goodies.
