Have had my 06 KJ for a few years now and finally made a front bumper for her. Mainly did it to see if I could plus it was good therapy. Made of 3/16" steel and reinforced in spots, coated with two coats of POR-15 and finished off with three coats of gloss black lacquer enamel. I can see some...
Just a thought that may work. Try taking out the spark plugs and squirting WD40 or similar in the cylinders and letting it sit for a while then try turning the engine by hand. As I said it is just a thought when all else fails. Othe members may have more experience with this.
I put an Aussie Locker in my '06 about 700 miles ago. Usually turn off the ESP with the dash button. In rain I find that the locker takes over and I don't have the hesitation that you have without the locker. Probably will be getting snow here soon so that will be the real test.
Just didn't...
I just ordered the Aussie locker for my '06. Should be here later this week or early next week. Plan on doing the install myself. Heard a lot of good things about them. I did have the lock rite in my 80 Camaro that I used for legal drag racing. That thing had 400 HP and never had a problem FWIW.
I am seriously considering an Aussie locker for my KJ. I have heard good reviews about them although they are similar to the Lock rite. Are there any other lockers that you can install yourself, just hate paying shop rates.
These are 16" and they look polished not chrome. Will probably look at them next week. Mine now are the stock chrome ones. Here is a link to the ones I am considering http://saskatoon.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-parts-accessories-2002-jeep-liberty-wheels-W0QQAdIdZ55075023
Hope it works.
