Maxlife is a good oil. Still a little confused on which viscosity you used. You said "30W", but then implied that you used 5W30.- belvedere

Seized upper control arm bolt. Attempt to remove it myself, or admit defeat and take it to a garage?
Since only the tip of the blade was being used (because of access), I took the dull end off with my bench grinder and got more life out of them. :) Finally got through the darn thing!- belvedere

I am going through this now. I have dulled 3 blades so far (expensive blades...Diablo Amped Steel Demon), and I'm only about 2/3 through the sleeve/bolt. My arms hurt, and my wallet does, too. Has anyone found a blade that works better?- belvedere

charging system
Our 06 Liberty 3.7 is not charging the battery. Connections are tight and clean, and the belt is in good condition and tight. I know that it's almost certainly the alternator, but that it could possibly be the PCM (which contains the VR). Can someone tell me the test procedure to pinpoint...- belvedere

Muffler replacement.

There are different grades of Quickstruts...I'm talking about the Sensatracs. Also, it's possible to get a defective component, even from a good brand. If someone tore off a brand new set of shocks after a week, IMO either a) they were "economy" shocks, b) there was a defective part, or c) the...- belvedere

Absolutely. I put Monroe Sensatracs on ours about a year and a half ago, and they work great. Shortly after I put them on, we drove it to SW CO and drove trails in the San Juans for a few days. No complaints, on- or off-road. It's sorta like tools. Some people think that if it doesn't say...- belvedere

transfer case swap
NAPA only lists one front shaft for an '06 Libby. They don't list it as only fitting a specific t-case or anything. Any ideas on that? Just trying to get a general idea of parts cost.- belvedere
