    Stalled?

I didn't think about that tjkj2002.....it's slow to react to throttle input compared to a mechanical cable w/a TPS, and just horribly slow compared to an old-school carbureted motor.

    Stalled?

Lets say, in my case, my problem is exactly as described in my post. I'd rule out the IAC, if the vehicle idle is perfect at every time except turning at lock, and even then, it can be hit or miss depending. Correct assumption to ignore IAC issues? Or does the programming tell the IAC to bump...

    Stalled?

Heck, my girlfriend's 2006 Liberty's trans shifts much better than my 2007's. The only key difference is the addition of electronic "drive by wire" throttle control. I agree the 02 trans is a much better transmission.

    Stalled?

I don't hold it there while backing in but 2-3 seconds...if you took a second to logically think about the process of backing into a parking spot (where I mentioned my problem occurs in my linked post) before posting. If you hold it at lock for over 2-3 seconds, wouldn't you just be going in a...

    Stalled?

If you don't mind, try finding a parking lot or somewhere and idling it around w/the steering wheel locked in one direction or another. I can just about get mine to do it almost every time if I do it right. Or try to back into parking spaces more often. See if yours does it more than just the...

Extra Key - Stealership wants to charge me $200

What doesn't work? The remote fob or the key? Unless you didn't get a key from an 05 or newer Chrysler vehicle, any key will start the vehicle. One and only one transponder chip was used across the board (on non-Mitsubishi based vehicles, that is). So it'll program. The remote, yes, could lead...

Extra Key - Stealership wants to charge me $200

There are no numbers on the non-remote Sentry keys... If you have an 05-07, all you need is the Sentry key with a "Tan" (looks gray, but is more tan than gray if you compare to the 04-earlier "Gray" sentry keys) head. It will also have an 'S' on the blade, pending you get a...

    Stalled?

http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34895 Give that a read. Sounds like my issue. Unfortunately, I can't get my Jeep in anytime soon. Stuff keeps coming up. But, if you take yours in before mine, please let me know their answer. And again, be sure to read through my post. Some good...

    07 Latitude phantom stalling issue???

I've had a quick-learn done once on the vehicle already. I'll inquire about having them reprogram the trans, flash the computer, and all that stuff. Thanks.

    07 Latitude phantom stalling issue???

I'll let you guys know. It won't be for a week or so, but I'll keep you posted. Oh, and I doubt it could be ESP. I've had it stall in the middle of summer too backing into a parking spot. And if an '03 (2003KJ) does it, I'm just wondering if it is a programming glitch w/the computer. I always...

    07 Latitude phantom stalling issue???

Here's an odd little quirk with my 2007 Latitude. I'm taking it to the dealership probably in a month or so for various other quirks/issues, but I'm just wondering what you all think this could be. Here goes: This issue happens at any given low-speed idle (in gear) situation. Lights on...

    2007 ****** Trouble?

Or, those dealers that completely claim ignorance to a clear obvious problem and refuse to throw parts at it

    2007 ****** Trouble?

Jimmy Jeep, I have no knowledge of the CRD so I don't know if/how it is possible. Original poster, I hope the replacement transmission fixes it for ya!

    2007 ****** Trouble?

Search here and the LOST board. I believe you turn the key on and leave it for like 15 or 20 seconds, depress the throttle (not missile-fast, but not super slow either) to the floor and back up ONCE (some people say twice, but I heard once is the correct way), and turn the key back off...
