I have a 2007 Jeep liberty and last year occasionally it would shut down on the way to a stop sign. I changed the IAS sensor the MAF sensor and finally the EGR valve. It keeps reading EGR valve is out of limits and the idle is not as smooth it is it has always been. I put in a new EGR valve and then put in another one and got the exact same reading from both of them. My next step is to spray carburetor fluid on the lines to see if maybe there’s a vacuum leak somewhere. Other than that, I figure it is either an electrical line which they all look good, or the main computer. The car has 292,000 miles on it and eats a quart of oil at every fill up so I don’t really want to put too much more into it. Anyone see something I haven’t thought of, I would appreciate it. Thanks!
