Here's some selectable lockers:

There's nothing CRD-specific about your rear axle. I also believe that by 2006 the ring gear bolts are revised to 10mm (from 3/8") so you may need to drill out the holes.

Check it first, a lot of the export CRDs had an LSD as standard.
Jack up both rear wheels and spin one, if the opposite wheel spins the same way you have an LSD, if it turns the opposite way you have an open diff.

This is nowhere near definitive. I speak from experience, as my Renegade had a LSD that was shot and acted like an open diff.
If it's open, the carrier is shaped differently. There is only one insertable locker for the LSD carrier, and it's twice the price of the rest.

I swapped in an open diff of the same year (make sure you get one with the proper VSD or ABS sensors, the door jamb 'break date' isn't completely accurate). I drove it open for 6 months and put an Aussie locker in it a couple weeks ago. Love it.

Sorry, just noticed you asked about selectable lockers. If you're going that way, you're looking at $1000 plus ring and pinion setup work. That being the case, Go ARB or forget it. Concerns about broken air lines are easily addressed with careful routing and air line selection. Yes you need to find a place to add an air compressor (or work it off of a 20lb CO2 tank), but it's not like that's the only thing you'll be using your OBA for. If you're serious about a selective locker, you should be serious about airing up/down as well.

Well, if its totally shot then you can't expect it to work.... but most of the time it's an easy test for an LSD without throwing oil everywhere.

I have a rear (electronically activated) ox locker on my KJ. It was spendy but works wonderfully. IMO Arb is only an option if you want/need extra air on your rig (which can be super useful for airing up/down). If you don't expect to need to do that, then I would look at the OX because those are mechanically operated and not much to go wrong.

That said, if I were to do it again, I'd probably save some bucks and just install a Eaton TT and call it a day. I have one in the front and it sees a lot more action than my rear locker.

I have Lockrights (autolockers) in the rear of two of my Dodge trucks. I really like them. Would put one in the jeep too, but it has a factory LSD (which is doing ok) making it a more involved install.

I looked into it with mine and there was only one lunchbox locker that worked in the LSD carrier.. It was twice the price of the Aussie. Looking back, I may he been better off just paying for it. But I have no complaints with thr Aussie.

IIRC, there is a powertrax no-slip for the LSD. Due to cost, I felt I should 'use up' the LSD first... and that hasn't happened yet - coming up on 13 yrs.

OEM Trak loc is just another clutch based LSD, and it's not bad for that style of system. But they wear over time, albeit pretty slowly with the KJ. Having used both, the Eaton TT is better. Torque comes on more progressively and never wears out.

Yes indeed.
Trac-loks are rather disappointing in a pickup truck with some weight in the bed. I know two people with Torsens (similar to True-trac) that took them out of their pickups - also not enough traction.
