Backup/reverse lights died- lost!

Discovered my reverse lights are dead. Just spent hours going every inch of the circuit with the meter and can’t find any faults. Bulbs are new, fuse is good. Suspect the switch on the stick, but it rings out good.
Totally stumped. Suggestions?

Just a thought, How are the reverse light bulb socket contacts? I had corrosion a bit on mine.
I used emery cloth & some spray in contact cleaner, got em working again.

That’s a good idea! That’s one thing I didn’t do - contact cleaner and dielectric grease. I’ll try that.
