Pulled a plug. Bad condition. .080 gap. Round center electrode and sharpened side electrode.

Finally found a gap tool after looking all over. Gapped the new plugs.

Went and bought an air compressor to blow the dirt out of the plug holes. There was some broken wire cover plastic in one. Finally was able to blow it all out. Then pulled a plug.

I'll get the new plugs in then start of fluids all around.

Did plenty of internet reading on all things Jeep.

Got my timing kit in, along with my timing cover gasket set, valve cover gasket set, front crankshaft seal, belt and tensioner kit, and a few other bearings and seals for the front D30a.

Finished the plugs. All were extremely old, but looking ok except for being worn round center and sharp side. Used the old rubber hose method, which I had almost forgot, since I last used it so many years ago.

I'll check the battery tomorrow and charge it ... and then see if it runs.

Got all the Amsoil for the front & read diff yesterday.

Got the a/t gasket today and rear diff gasket yesterday from Lubelocker. Why they send them separate ??? but it may be the pre packaging.

Waiting on atf and other misc parts from Avondale AZ moparwholesaleparts. Should be today.

Next I got to get it way up in the air to work and inspect underneath. Brakes are looking and feeling good. I can see somewhat thru' the alloy wheels.

Tried to post a photo of the beast but the site said photo too large.

Noticed a bit of a jump when I was on the gas the other day.. hmm...
The rear shock bolts were tight..
The rear axle driver's side lower control arm bolt, was not exactly very tight anymore.. Huh?
It is now! ;)

Looks like the owner tried to replace the motor, pulled it out, lost interested and let it sit for a couple years.

Think that I got a great deal for $100 and $20 in gas to get my Liberty #2 home.

Stay tuned for more shenanigans!

Charged battery. Started up nicely after new plugs yesterday.

Low rear pass side wheel, as when I bought it. I'll check for nail or loose stem. Otherwise to the tire shop to remount.

Put on new strut supports for rear window.

Ready now to get it up in the air and work underneath on all fluids. And general inspection.

Well isn't this a small world! Congrats on getting it accepted Phil, And the KJ magnet is now the head of my RockAuto magnet collection!

Hitch fell off my Liberty while driving around my yard. I found it and bolted it back up correctly.

Yes the Digital fit Weather tech's fit great. They do protect carpets well.
I use Mother's Back to Black once they start fading.
I also have the rear cargo, which fits wonderful too.

Well heres what did over the past month, since ive only had it for a little over a month. Replaced catalytic converter, got it to pass smog. Fixed the ABS/TCS/EBS light, fixed code U1411, replaced fuel pump assy.,replaced knocking rear ball joint, replaced muffler with a Cherry Bomb M-80, replaced a window regulator, fixed and charged A/C, replaced 2 front tires, tinted windows, replaced front speakers and detailed a few times inside and out.

Now its time to sell.
